An Air Peace passenger on a recent flight from Port Harcourt to London has shared his experience on X (formerly Twitter) saying the airline crew was very good but the plane was too old.
The passenger whose X name is Ovie (Ovie_joshua) praised the airline for its competitive pricing, a great meal, a dutiful pilot and friendly crew, but said inside the plane was dirty, unkempt, with the seat covers begging for a change. He also said there were no charging ports for passengers devices, making the economy class “economically hard.”

One passenger tweeted that he was on the flight, but do not intend to use his return ticket, implying that he did not enjoy the flight.
Ovie tweeted: “Last week I flew @flyairpeace to and from London and I’m here to give my honest reviews .
“1. Price was so cheap. I got an economy return ticket from Portharcourt to London for #1,015,000. Business class upgrade was offered for #375,250 at the check in counter.on ground crew and flight attendants were nice and professional.
“3. The flight to London was not delayed, took off at the exact take off time
4. The captain was solid (Ekihinde Mattew) he buttered the landing in London.
5. The food was great alsogave a generous baggage allowance.
7. The B777 aircraft was a very old aircraft . Aircraft name – Anwuli Peggy Oyema
8. The plane was dirty and untidy especially the seats. They looked so worn out and old.
“9. The flight attendants were nice and friendly.9. Just a few of the infotainment systems were working, majority were off and not on.
Overall, the flight was smooth, fast and very good value for money.
@flyairpeace y’all should look more on making the plane very tidy and clean.

I don’t know about business class, but evonomy doesn’t have, it’s economically hard there.”
Air Peace replied the passenger via its official X handle, Flyairpeace, saying it regretted the inconvenience experienced by the passenger and making a promise to keep improving on its service on the route.
“We also sincerely regret the inconvenienced experienced. At Air Peace, we strive to provide a standard of comfort and quality and we are actively addressing all concerns raised with the appropriate department for review and resolution,” the airline responded.
