Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, Lagos State Branch, has concluded arrangements to host its Mandatory Continuous Professional Development (MCPD) programme for year 2023 themed: “Opportunities and Challenges in Joint Venture and Development Lease”.

According to the schedule of programmes released by the Chairman of the Branch MCPD programme, ESV Godspower Omozusi, Principal Partner, GP Omozusi & Co the MCPD will hold at the NECA Centre, Alausa, Lagos on Wednesday 6th December, 2023, wherein Mr. Akintola Oladejo, Chief Executive Officer, Prestigious Homes, will be the Lead Speaker on the theme, while Mr. Ayo Olanrewaju Kuyebi, CEO, GMH Luxury Limited will unravel the “Issues Relating to Financing, Sharing Ratio and Premium in Joint Ventures.”

All members of the Branch are expected to attend the one-day capacity building seminar which will address and unravel the nitty gritty of business potentials of Joint Ventures and Development Lease deals vis-a-vis the issues inherent in the partnerships. Also expected to attend the programme are members of the Institution from other branches, real estate students and stakeholders in real estate business who desire to update their knowledge of the industry.

Other renowned, knowledgeable and highly competent real estate professionals have been slated to impact participants as speakers and facilitators. ESV Okpaleke Francis Chukwuma, a Fellow of the Institution and Managing Partner, Mark Odu & Co. will speak on the topic “Exploring Options for Conflict Resolution Joint Venture” while Engr. Kayode Olorunfemi, CEO, Caih Resources Limited and ESV Shonibare Ibidapo, Principal Partner, Dapo Shonibare & Co would handle “Strategies for Off plan in Joint Ventures” and “The Legal Aspects of Joint Venture and Development Lease” respectively.

Approved by the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON), the programme certificate bears a 3-point mark for membership upgrade.
